a few hours....
I'm exhausted.
I got into bed at 5PM last night and set an alarm for 9:45PM. I slept for maybe 30 mins.
As soon as I started bringing my bags downstairs, I realized I didn't have any luggage tags. So 15 mins later, Mom, Aidan and I made some out of Aidan's old Camp Eagle Lake tags. We got to the airport around 11PM and Mom got a picture of me while the street zamboni guy honked the zamboni at us.
I got through security in less than five mins. Since I was in and out of sleep, I don't really remember the flight from Denver except that I got mini sun chips and the guy next to me was watching a very raunchy movie.
Fast forward until right now...I'm sitting at the Atlanta airport watching the sun rise waiting for my flight to Panama City.
My nervousness is starting to transform into excitement, but I don't think I'll be able to be fully excited until I'm off the plane in Panama. It's surreal knowing that in a few short hours, I'll be starting the program that I've been thinking about since July. I just got added to the Canvas page for my SIT classes and I started looking through my assignments and files. I might try to read some of a book on the plane depending on if I can wake up any more.
I looked up the hotel we'll be staying at for the next few days and it's NICE. Apartment style suites and everything. Maybe I'll post two blogs in one day to show the room I'm in haha. Now I just have to stay awake until my flight....
